Test Case Definition und Documentation
We define and document user-focused test cases across all test types and levels. This includes:
- Identifying key business and operational risks
- Defining success criteria and measurable KPIs
- Mapping process dependencies, data flows and exception paths
Test Data Construction
We prepare the required test data for each testing phase, including:
- Cargo unit types (containers, trailers, swap bodies, etc.)
- Master data (rail schedules, equipment, CHE, facilities)
- Bookings, orders, and status data
Functionality Testing (Isolated Operational Functions)
We ensure that all required functionalities are provided in the TOS — including features that may be part of the standard system but not explicitly listed in the procurement contract.
This includes verifying that operators can perform core processes such as:
- Rail and yard planning
- Job creation and dispatching in the correct operational sequence
- Full data entry, validation and updates
- Correct reporting and output quality
- Rule sets for cargo status changes (e.g., customs or regulatory statuses)
Cross-Module Functionality Testing
We verify that all data, documentation, operational plans, events and job dispatches correctly flow across TOS modules.
This ensures that:
- Every cargo movement
- Every unit status change
- Every operational event
- Every special service (VAS)
is captured accurately for documentation, reporting and billing.
Integration Testing
We evaluate the quality and reliability of integrations between the TOS and external systems, including:
- ERP and accounting systems
- Asset management and maintenance systems
- Remote monitoring platforms
- DGPS / positioning systems
- Third-party GOS and OCR solutions (gate, rail, crane)Other mission-critical applications
Live Operations Testing
We identify issues that only surface under real operational conditions, including:
- Full-load performance
- Real-time dispatching
- Concurrent user operations
- High-volume data exchange
Additionally, we validate:
- Newly implemented SOPs
- Operational workflows
- Staff performance across different operational scenarios
